Greetings Fridays @ 6:00 pm
Hello and welcome to Celebrate Recovery (CR). We've all been hurt by other people, we've hurt ourselves, and we've hurt others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, habit, or hang-up; people pleasing, anger, resentment, depression, unhealthy decisions, dysfunctional environments, broken relationships and addictions just to name a few. The question we all face is, Where do we go from here?
The purpose of CR is to spend time together and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 Principles, also known as the "Beatitudes". We open the door to recovery by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life's problems. By working the Christ-Centered biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our hurts, habits, hang-ups and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly a stronger relationship with the Trinity - God, Christ, & Spirit.
I would like to personally invite you to come this Friday night to experience a place of healing. Then, I challenge you to come back at least four times consistently and you will come to know God and His true and perfect love for you!
First time to our CR? Dinner is free to our first time guests.
NEWCOMERS 101 Fridays @ 8:00 pm
The goal of Newcomers 101 is to give information about all aspects of CR, to answer any questions you may have about the program and to help you feel ready to go to small groups next Friday.
Celebrate Recovery started at Saddleback Church in California in 1991. John Baker along with Rick Warren (author of "A Purpose Driven Life") felt strongly that a church family should be a place where people could share their hurts, habits, and hang-ups as they focus on their relationship with Jesus Christ. James 5:16; "Confess your sins to one another and to me and you will be healed."
Celebrate Recovery programs everywhere use the same format, curriculum, small group guidelines, printed material, ect. One church's CR format isn't much different than the next. This way, you will know what to expect if/when you go from one meeting to another.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives. We “RETURN” to God and share our life experiences, strengths and hopes. We become willing to face our hurts and uncover the lies Satan has lead us to believe. By working and applying Biblical principles, we accept God’s grace and “RECLAIM” our identity as sons and daughters of the King Most High, heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven. This is our true identity. Our lives are “RESTORED”as we break free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors and transform our hearts with peace, serenity, and true joy. In this process we open up emotionally and spiritually which helps us develop a stronger and more personal relationship with Jesus Christ and others.
